We LOVED everything about Alma Cliffe (well, perhaps not the steps, LOL). Our host Tracey was fabulous in very way, and our room (and bathroom) were spacious, clean, and comfortable (with special personal touches and supplies for our every need). Breakfast was great, and the front garden, spectacular view, gorgeous nearby countryside, and short walk into this quaint town 'on our path' made this affordable lodging a clear favorite~

We stayed for 2 nights, travelled up from Essex as we had a wedding nearby. The place was beautiful and clean and we had everything we needed. The living area upstairs is so cozy and we loved that there were books, DVDs and games. We had a really comfortable night sleep. We would 100% stay here again, I highly recommend. So pleased with our weekend staycay :) thank you for making it so easy.
Located 19 miles from King George's Hall, Trawden Arms Community Owned Pub offers 4-star accommodations in Winewall and features a garden, a restaurant and a bar.
The place is exceptional. The place, its surroundings, the local people all made the stay exceptional. Loads to do and visit, whether you travel with family, children, pets etc...there is something for everyone. A short car journey you have Skipton, Grassington and the Dales.
Places to eat & drink, you are spoilt for choice, so just go and enjoy, 100% guarantee you will return.

A lovely, classic Lancashire (Yorkshire) market town, with plenty of things to do, places to eat & drink.
The Music & Arts centre always has some excellent bands playing, which was the reason for our visit.
The market square, was great, with plenty of open air seating, that allowed you to take your food / drinks from any of the available vendors.
We recommend Wax & Taps, a great craft beer bar, with a fantastic menu and a small but surprisingly good selection of vinyl, for sale.

Alma Cliffe was an elegant home away from home.
Alma Cliffe was an elegant home away from home. The house is beautifully decorated & immaculately kept. The hosts were special people asking if there was anything we needed. It was simply "Ask & you shall receive.!" Nothing was too much trouble & it was obvious that our comfort was of the utmost importance.
The hosts are a very pleasant couple.

I can't be terribly helpful about Barnoldswick as I was visiting friends at the Lower Park Marina, but the town itself has some lovely shops and cafes and plenty of available parking. Just down the road at Colne there is the Boundary outlet with all of the top name shops to browse. Easy access to Skipton and Harrogate for more amazing shops and experiences.

Communication with Tom was helpful and prompt. We were able to park outside, and it is a very well equipped and decorated little cottage. A nice touch was the welcoming bottle of wine and everything to make tea and coffee. The Wi-Fi was great (handy as I was working from home some days) and we loved the wood burning stove in the evenings. Barnoldswick is a lovely town, with so many independent shops, cafes and pubs, and it is surrounded by magnificent countryside. Highly recommended.
Great property in an excellent location, comfortable and spotless place to stay and had no problems at all. Kristen was in touch a lot and sent us everything we needed and was very welcoming, barnoldswick is in a great location near lots of great walking spots. We are already planning our next stay at the wild daisy.
Everything, Tracy could not do enough to make it a fantastic place to stay.
Perfect location for visiting Barnoldswick Music and Arts Centre.
We will definitely stay there again.
