The location was great.
Staff left me a birthday card in the bedroom, which I found was a nice touch
Christmas breakfast was really nice. The lady who served us on Christmas day morning was really friendly (sorry didnt get her name, think she was Eastern European). Reception staff were friendly considering they were working Christmas

The rooms are big and beautiful with super comfy beds and strong, hot showers. The food was really tasty. The staff were outstanding. Chatty, happy and helpful. They really looked after us and our little pup. We cannot wait to come back.

We are regulars to Mollies, always a comfortable stay and fantastic shower!
The beds are always described as 'double' however they are huge and would say they are close to the superking we have at home. A bonus with a tall Husband!
Love that I don't have to take my hair straighteners when I stay here.
Staff are always very helpful.

A very interesting historical village used as the location for some of the scenes in Downton Abbey. A trail can be bought from the library which doubled as the cottage hospital in Downton. The church is worth a visit.

If you like Downton Abbey, the TV program and the characters...
If you like Downton Abbey, the TV program and the characters you have to go to Bampton. A very quaint village where the outdoor scenes were filmed. Near the library is a small museum all about Downton Abbey. The staff in there were very happy to share their experiences of the filming with you.

Sadly I never got to try the breakfast as I left the hotel too early every morning, but the food in the evenings was exceptional and great value.
The staff were particularly amazing, as a solo traveller they made me feel very welcome.
The village of Bampton is a lovely location too, shops nearby and close to where I needed to be.
We absolutely loved this beautiful hotel! We didn’t want to leave! Super friendly and welcoming staff, lovely decor, comfortable beds, clean, great shower and bath!
Delicious French food at the restaurant downstairs, as well as great breakfast and coffee!
Will definitely stay again when back in England!
The decor was the real stand out. It was so well thought off and just so wonderful. The location too is really nice, in the small cosy village of Bampton. The location is fantastic both to have a relaxed holiday and to move around to site see in the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire.
Amazing room. Clean and full of French charm. Lovely hotel and restaurant. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choices. Top service and staff helpful and friendly.
