The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, nothing fancy but perfectly adequate. Location great for the A1 as on it! The rooms are a little dated but as expected for the price so can't complain.

We arrived earlier than the check-in time as we were on a way to a family wedding. We had an extremely warm welcome and delicious coffee and biscuits. Our room was very comfortable with nice touches e.g. a bowl of fruit. The breakfast was amazing.

Lovely staff, great spa facilities next door (not part of the hotel but a Nuffield health spa which you need to walk outside of the hotel to access!)
Close to the city centre and only a 10-minute walk from the railway station, Holiday Inn Stevenage has a mini-gym and boasts a modern and stylish Destinations Bar and Restaurant.

The lady on the front desk was great, very helpful. Spare sofa bed wasn't made up, there were stains on it so she gave us extra bedding to cover it. We made do. Although we wanted to walk out but at late notice, I would have lost money and trying to get a Premier Inn late notice would have been hard.
The whole place should be updated and painted at least to make it look modern and welcoming to guests. Open windows before guests arrive to take the musty smell out as well.
Breakfast was just about ok but could do with a small canteen instead of having breakfast near the entrance.
Won't be staying here again, very disappointed.

Makes an excellent base for exploring round about Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. There are excellent aircraft museums within easy reach, but those weekends with air displays can lead to congestion on the access roads near Duxford.

My daughter and I stayed for 1 night in this lovely B&B, host very welcoming, despite us arriving late in the day, we stayed in a cosy twin room, with fantastic garden view, no en-suite but private bathroom opposite our room, didn’t find this to be a problem.
Breakfast was very good,( and gluten free provided )cooked to order, we ate way too much!
It was a pity we could only stay for 1 night, but hopefully can stay again in the future.
Struggling to find anything we didn’t like.
Thank you

Cindy is an exceptional host and we were immediately made to feel very welcome. The house is in a pleasant and quiet rural location close to small and characterful villages but with ready access to the A1 and with the small town of Baldock 10 minutes drive away. The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is excellent: beautifully presented and cooked and very substantial and served in a light and airy room. Secure and easy car parking by the house. We will definitely visit again.
It was local to where we were going for a party. Shower and room were not fancy or anything special but clean and comfortable for a nights stay. Shower a lovely size and power worked fine. Price very reasonable. Great that it’s located next to services, plenty of parking.
Redwing Lodge was convenient to where our relatives live in Baldock. It was value for the money we spent which included a basic but acceptable breakfast, and the staff were very welcoming and the bed comfortable. Although on the main A1 it was quiet in the Lodge.
