We come to Bacton at the beginning of November to bring my old dog away from the fireworks. Bacton is the perfect place for peace and tranquility. The beach is a dogs haven!! Chinese takeaway is good too. Local shops are well stocked altho a little pricey. So go prepared and take u basics.

The most perfect stay! Everywhere within was immaculate.

The most perfect stay! Everywhere within was immaculate. Mattresses were high quality & sooo comfy! WiFi and smart TV are a welcome extra, especially in the evenings. There is a small private garden with a table & parasol. The kitchen had every utensil we needed. The hosts have really thought of everything 🙌🏼 The beach is just up the road, as are a shop, laundrette and chip shop. We also walked to the nearest pub, this took us around 20minutes. We would highly recommend and we will be back.

Bacton would be difficult to review as we only spent one night at Seals and only took a walk along the beach. The beach was excellent, very clean and lots of soft sand. So much space we don’t think it could ever get crowded. It is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing break.

Food places are scattered around, particularly at Walcott but if you want more interesting places to visit when the weather is not good, you have to drive a fair way. This is really for all-weather beach walkers and the beach is magnificent.

Bacton as a seaside village has few facilities, a pub, fish and chips, ice cream and a cafe about sums it up, however it does have lovely sandy beaches which were surprisingly empty, if you have children above the age on about 10 it may be a challenge to keep them entertained for any length of time.

Great caravan, really good condition. Wifi was a bonus. Brilliant location, Bacton beach is lovely. The kids spent most of their time body boarding and we were able to take our dog on some areas of the beach. Some lovely little touches - welcome treats, a few tokens for the laundry, a towel for drying the dog and dog bowls. The bowls were particularly useful as we had forgotten ours. While there we booked for 8 nights during summer '23 and we are already looking forward to it.

Great location, views of the beach. Typical hotel room but bed was uncomfortable (two singles joined together), a bit lumpy and bumpy in places. Communal areas (especially stairs) need a deep clean. Staff friendly and attentive apart from young lady in bar, who needs some training and a smile on her face! Decent breakfast, table service from excellent lady!

Nice quiet spot for a short break! Though the site doesn't have facilities the village has all that was needed, shop, takeaways and pubs nearby too. Chalet had everything we needed and more.
