The room was perfect and lady we dealt with was amazingly helpful. Even though the pub was closed for renovations the lady was more than happy to come back to the accommodation to let us have plates, cutlery and glasses to make our stay comfortable. Will definitely return when the property is fully operational again.

We had a lovely big room with bathroom. Shower over bath worked well and complementary products were good quality as were the towels. Staff friendly and food good with some nice diversity from typical pub food.

We were in Babcary for a wedding, and unfortunately the taxi we booked to get to the ceremony in the morning did not show up. Hugo from the Red Lion (very generously) gave us a lift instead - we were totally blown away by the generosity, and we most likely would have missed the wedding otherwise! Thank you so much to everyone at The Red Lion for going above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely weekend <3
Fabulous hotel and stay, The staff were incredibly welcoming both at check in and dinner and breakfast service. The food was exceptional and the menu had a good variety. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I also left an item of clothing behind and had to call to see if I could get the item returned the staff were most helpful and agreed to post back as I live over 200miles away.
