Central right in downtown Askrigg. Exceptional daily morning breakfast.

If you are active at walking or cycling, or perhaps reading or writing, Aysgarth and the Hut are great, but if it's lousy weather, you might need to bring your own entertainment.
I had a great meal in the Aysgarth Falls Hotel but the ambiance was not the best so I preferred to eat in. That was easy as all the cooking facilities are there and the local garage has food. For lunch, the Café Curva in Hawes is top of my list, but the cafe in Askrigg is good too.

The hotel was comfortable and homely & within easy walking distance of The Falls, the reason we chose it.
The staff, particularly the afternoon/ evening ones, were very friendly and helpful. We were able to book our preferred seats for our evening meal.
Lots of choices on the evening menu, all very generous portions. We would have liked more simple options for breakfast, fruit, creamy, not pouring, yoghurt

Great location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, but noise issues at night from main road for bedrooms at the front of the building.
Hotel otherwise comfortable and attractive. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is good. Definitely worth a visit.

Our visit was really spoilt by the weather. Howling gales and driving rain. This was at the beginning of October. In better weather this would be a great place to stay. Very close to the falls and a short drive to Bolton Castle, which is certainly worth a visit. They have wild boar there as well.

Aysgarth Falls hotel was a good choice for our northern dales trip. Be warned that if you want to see the famous Aysgarth Falls then it is a steep walk down the road from the hotel. Might be better for the less mobile to drive to the Dales National Park centre and walk from there.

Basically everything.......superb, quality furnishings and fittings. Amazing attention to detail throughout with lovely touches to help make our stay just perfect. Great location on the fringes of a working dairy farm, making it central for exploring the Dales. Aysgarth Falls only a 20 minute walk away, in one direction, and Hawes only a 15 minute drive away, in the other. Highly recommend this property, without hesitation as we've already stayed twice this year.
Had a lovely 2 night stay with breakfast included.
Hotel is situated on the main road with ample parking, easy check in and had a beautiful room with fantastic views. Breakfast plentiful, good choice and served to you table. All staff very friendly and accommodating and would definitely return.
Asgarth Falls is only a short stroll from the hotel and also situated between Leyburn and Hawes so a great location to explore the area.
The Cottage was very comfortable and a great location. You literally couldn't get closer to Aysgarth Falls. There's a lovely hotel up the road for meals and drinks, very friendly staff and beautiful gardens.
The Cottage was very well furnished with all the mod cons you could want. There are plenty of walks around the local area and lots of beautiful villages to explore.
Great location and great breakfast with lots of nice touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Within walking distance of Aysgarth Falls and a short drive to Hawes. Hosts were excellent.
