The property was in a great location. However it was a little bit tired and there were a few bits that were broken. The beds were very uncomfortable. All in all it did our job but if we had of been staying longer it would’ve been an issue

The Rose Luxury Self Catering Accommodation, hotel in Armagh

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of garden, The Rose Luxury Self Catering Accommodation is situated in Armagh, 600 metres from Saint Patrick's Catholic Cathedral.

It was not what I was expecting, in a good way. The BnB was spotless, the furniture is good quality. The recliners in the sitting room were really comfortable and as we stayed two nights we got good use of them. The bed was comfortable and clean. The whole property was clean and that's a big deal with me as I work in the facilities industry so can spot something a mile away. Cleanest place I've stayed in by far. The wee girl who let us in was really warm and friendly and checked in with us when she was showing other patrons to their rooms.

Armagh is a great place to stay.

Armagh is a great place to stay. We visit relatives close by and enjoy the scenery, history, and modern areas offered. Transportation is available to most anywhere. The city is charming, has a historical flair, but is also up to date with modern conveniences, good shopping choices, and fun places to go and see.

We did the walking tour and it was well worth the £6. Armagh is a city full of history and there is a core group of people working very hard to keep the city alive and vibrant. It is a very friendly city where everyone seems to know everyone else and outsiders are made very welcome. We also visited the Planetarium/Observatory and that is a treat for any age group. There are also lovely walks around it. We ate in Keegan's pub (ask anyone the way to it) and loved the food and the Guinness. I would very highly recommend a visit to Armagh for people of any age, there is something there for everyone.

The city itself was a nice place to visit with lots of great shops, cafes and eateries. The area around the city is a great place for views, countryside walks and again lots of places to eat, drink and chill.

Interesting for a family visit with Planetarium and historical information in Museums. Lots of open space. Morelli's crepes and ice cream big hit with everyone on our trip. Chance visit to the Men's shed was an added bonus - very helpful and knowledgable members

Got a clear sense of history in the city, with plenty of locations to visit and to get a feel for the place. As the city itself is not too big all of attractions and places of interest are within walking distance of each other.
