The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. The meal in the restaurant was good. There was entertainment in the pub that evening, which was brilliant. Everyone in the pub - including the bar staff - were having a great time.

An incredible place, the location, the views are the best in the world. The house is furnished and decorated with attention to detail. Roger, the host, made us both very welcome. He kindly booked a table at the local hotel for an evening meal in case we hadn't eaten. I recommend the Corrie House special for a healthy breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything had been considered for us. The bed was comfy, the linen was clean, the shower and bathroom were clean. We had tea and milk and wonderful shortbread provided. The room was warm and the breakfast was MADE TO ORDER which always surpass a larger hotels buffet. Dinner too was excellent and the general atmosphere here was one of family and homeyness.

Hosts Darren and Karen were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. They are very attentive to all guests. One standout thing they did was introduce everyone to each other at breakfast, not something I have seen at other guest houses, this meant that breakfast was really nice communal occasion where you didn't have to sit in an awkward silence.
the location and facilities are first rate. Even down to including menu's for the surrounding pubs and restaurants, such a good idea.
We WILL be staying there again in the future.

Very cosy and lovely inside! The games in the bar area is a bonus, can enjoy a board game with a drink in front of the fire. Heated flooring in the bathroom was also a joy.

I phoned the hotel to let them know I would be checking in late due to work and the chap I spoke with was very helpful and understanding, I assumed it would be too late for a meal but the lady at reception said they could arrange food... Bonus !
The room was basic but clean and warm, breakfast was good.
A nice place to stay in my opinion.
I stay in hotels a lot for work and don't normally post reviews but felt this place is getting some uncalled for low reviews, if you want a brand new premier inn type hotel.. book one !

The location and the views are wonderful. Very tranquil setting. Food and service was great.
The room requires a little attention though. Bedding is a bit shabby, cleanliness of bathroom could be better.

The food at the hotel restaurant was lovely.
The food at the hotel restaurant was lovely. The chef sources ingredients locally and they have their own garden. It was very up scale for being so far off beaten path. The staff were very friendly and accommodating getting us in for dinner even with our late arrival. The highland cows grazing and view were spectacular. The beds were comfortable and it was so quiet. Just beware that the roads in the area are narrow and winding and at times "single track with passing places" and speed limits are 60mi/hr.

We will most definitely stay here again hopefully in the not to distant future.
This was our first visit to Loch Melfort Hotel and it won`t be our last. We had a wonderful stay here, the scenery & views from the hotel are super.
Our room was spacious and very comfortable.
We had dinner and breakfast and our meals were lovely especially our dinner at night.
Great service from all the staff.
The breakfast was exellent, and being around nature with an access to the botanic garden was a plus. Our two years old loves the rabbit hotel as you can see the wild life all around us.
