An incredible place, the location, the views are the best in the world. The house is furnished and decorated with attention to detail. Roger, the host, made us both very welcome. He kindly booked a table at the local hotel for an evening meal in case we hadn't eaten. I recommend the Corrie House special for a healthy breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was cosy and welcoming. We had our dog with us and she was able to join us in the bar for dinner. We had a family room which was huge, two separate sleeping areas, a separate toilet and shower room. Breakfast was included and was freshly made to order. The food at dinner and breakfast was great.

Hosts Darren and Karen were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. They are very attentive to all guests. One standout thing they did was introduce everyone to each other at breakfast, not something I have seen at other guest houses, this meant that breakfast was really nice communal occasion where you didn't have to sit in an awkward silence.
the location and facilities are first rate. Even down to including menu's for the surrounding pubs and restaurants, such a good idea.
We WILL be staying there again in the future.

Have been visiting this hotel on and off for 40 years - amazing location and comfy old fashioned hotel
The location and the views are wonderful. Very tranquil setting. Food and service was great.
The room requires a little attention though. Bedding is a bit shabby, cleanliness of bathroom could be better.

The food at the hotel restaurant was lovely.
The food at the hotel restaurant was lovely. The chef sources ingredients locally and they have their own garden. It was very up scale for being so far off beaten path. The staff were very friendly and accommodating getting us in for dinner even with our late arrival. The highland cows grazing and view were spectacular. The beds were comfortable and it was so quiet. Just beware that the roads in the area are narrow and winding and at times "single track with passing places" and speed limits are 60mi/hr.

The view from our room, terrace and hotel dining room was out of this world. We were blessed with excellent weather which made the most of the lovely setting. The room was very clean and the bed was large and comfortable. It was great to have our own terrace to sit out on in the sun. The food was also excellent as was the service. The staff were all really friendly. The hotel was next door to a National Trust for Scotland garden which was very nice too with lovely views. The whole experience was very restful and enjoyable.
