The Stables B&B, hotel in Antrim

Situated just 31 km from SSE Arena, The Stables B&B provides accommodation in Antrim with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a housekeeping service.

Spacious, extremely clean and the bonus was an exceptional hostess. We arrived during Storm Darragh and unfortunately the majority of the area was without any power. Carol and her son did everything possible to ensure we had heating via a portable gas heater, candles and torches for lighting, plus warm drinks and soup.

Antrim is nice and lovely for a get away holiday from the hussle and bustles of city life. The town has lots of trees and town centre have most of the regular stores like Lidl, Asda, SPAR. for easy shopping. Accessing Belfast city centre from Antrim is quite easy and the roads are traffic free.

Ill not lie this was just a one night stopover for me but I do know the area has an immense cultural heritage spanning 1000s of years. My advice to all is the same for any location get out and explore eat were the locals eat soak up the atmosphere. Everyone I came across was friendly and helpful. Its easy and fast to get to so there are really no excuses not to visit.

    Great location.

Great location. So peaceful and quiet and lots of country side to walk around yet a few minutes up the road is the town with shops and sports facilities. Also the castle and grounds and the Lough. So close to Belfast to by bus or train.

There are a few interesting places in Antrim, the gardens and the lake shore area are very pretty. Here are excellent facilities for a number of sports including golf , swimming , boating and leisure centre type activities. The access to the rest of Northern Ireland is very good.

Wasn't visiting Antrim ...... going to Belfast International Airport but Antrim is a pleasant small town for a short visit. It would be a good base for visiting Northern Ireland......one hour to Giant's Causeway and the beautiful North Coast ....45 mins to the Glens of Antrim ......25 mins to Belfast ......70 mins to the Lakes of Fermanagh .....one hour to Derry /Londonderry .....one hour to the Mourne Mountains

Absolutely outstanding apartment in a perfect location, bang in the heart of Antrim. Staff bent over backwards to help us with any request or enquiry. Beds are super-comfy and bedrooms have great bay windows with views of the High Street, as well as TVs, along wirh the TV in the living room.. East walk to Castle Gardens and buses. Longer walk to lake (Lough Neagh) and large supermarket. Parking usually available nearby.
