Loved the rural location and village. Some nice room touches, like robes + good selection of teas, and fresh milk. The bed was super comfortable and the power shower very efficient. Lorraine, the owner, is friendly and helpful. General ambience in bar and dining areas is very good; the food and service excellent. After feeling some uncertainty on arrival we left with every intention of returning.
Fantastic accommodation. Rooms in the roof are fantastic.
Fantastic accommodation. Rooms in the roof are fantastic. Loads of old beams and quirky corners.
Surrounding village is not big but very pretty and it has a fantastic pub that does a wonderful Sunday roast.
Allington Manor is a must to stay at.

Excellent historic property in a great location, the Lords and lady's rooms were excellent. Great friendly host and lovely breakfast. We were there for business, but it would be great for an explore of the area and the beautiful local villages.

We stayed at Allington, as we were competing at arena UK, just a 5 min drive away.
It was fantastic, easy to come and go in the morning, lovely breakfasts, tea/coffee in the rooms, pleanty of hot water and fresh towels.
Leo was on hand at any time and was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable.
I would fully recomment.
Allington is a stunning country manor in great location across from a quintessential country pub for a good value meal. The king size bed with high quality linens, luscious soft carpet, claw foot bath and room was just perfect. it was only a shame we were there for one night only passing through. The gardens at the property were in bloom and there is a lovely guest seating area at the back and even a bar on site if you fancy at night cap.
Beautiful Jacobean manor house, and historic surroundings in the quaint village of Allington! Room was gorgeous with antique furniture and double ended bath in bedroom! Breakfast was exceptional and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful! Lovely stay, would go back in a heartbeat!
Allington Manor is a charming country house set in beautiful surroundings with a lovely garden , very quiet yet only minutes from the A1. We were made to feel very welcome, the breakfast was delicious , and the characterful bedroom and en-suite delightful.
