Everything. The room was clean, comfortable bed, slept well. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was really good. Slippers and a bottle of water in the room would have topped it all off

We only stayed one night, and that was to long enough , a little out of the way , but the GPS got there. However, it would have done us a favour if it had not. As the hotel may be okay for illegal immigrants. I have no issue with Alfreton, or wonderful county of Derbyshire, just the rubbish chain of Hotels.

The place I stayed is in the village of Wessington and it is quieter than Alfreton itself.
Alfreton had a good charger for my electric car at a KFC but nearby there were other retail outlets and eateries.
I was mainly there to visit the National Tramway Museum at Crich which is not far from Wessington. There are also good places to walk.
I ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and had soup and a roll and also morning coffee at the museum.

The only thing we didn't like about our stay is booking.coms site stayed it was a lot closer to where we were spending time with new family at their home. We wanted to be closer so we could all let our hair down . And at the property our room was just off the foyer and the alarm intermittently bleeped the whole time.

The centre of Alfreton is easy to get to with plenty of parking nearby for you to use or simply like most people park up in the big Tesco store rather than trying the 30 minute on street parking. The town has a range of stores and the usual charity shops in abundance. Banks are in good number as well as the ATM machines. It is clean and tidy, looks well cared for by the local council and is recommended for a visit.

The room and hotel were very clean.
The room and hotel were very clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. The food wasn't great and there was a lot of noise throughout the night.
I would recommend purely due to the cleanliness, the staff and the comfy bed, just don't expect to get a great night's sleep..

Good Place to visit , But be warned pub restaurants will not cook food after six o'clock pm sometimes earlier. Some pubs were actually closing at six pm. This is not just Alfreton this is mostly all the surrounding areas
that you may want to visit. Bakewell, Buxton, ect.

It was a unique hotel not like the branded ones where it's very samey. Team were great and the room was top class. Enjoyed the food and ales on offer and the quiz in the pub was fun. Loved the fried potato breakfast!
Lovely place with Christmas trees, making it feel welcoming. Spacious rooms and hangers for clothes. Heating throughout the hotel was appreciated. Breakfast was additional but worth it. We will stay again!
the room was spotless great sized and comfortable bed ,staff excellent very friendly and approachable nothing to much trouble.excellent for a base to sightsee the area of derbyshire and the dales
