The manager went out of his way to help us. We arrived late and missed supper but were allowed to eat our sandwiches in the bar with a glass of wine. The next day we had to leave early for an appointment and were able to eat a quick early lunch.
The hotel was a charming old building. The beds were comfortable, bathroom clean, towels provided. The town of Biggar is delightful with alleys running between the buildings up the hill. All staff very friendly and helpful and. We wish we had an excuse to come back.

The hotel is just off the motorway and is clean, comfortable and good value for money.
The car park is the general parking for the Abington services and perhaps a separate area would be good.
Having said that, it is a well lit area and in use throughout the night by people using the services.

The windows had child safety features, the heating, hot water and bath/shower was fine.
All in all it was a great night's stay at a very fair price.

Hotel was great with wonderful views.
Hotel was great with wonderful views. But the breakfast at the service station is terrible. Do yourself a favour and travel 5 mins south to a much much better option. The next junction south has a truckers cafe just off the main road with ample parking. the food was brilliant and well priced. We will definitely be going back for some more of their breakfast on option.

The room was lovely and clean. The location of the Hotel was good and plenty of parking with electric hookups for those with EVs. The receptionist was very helpful when the TV remotes batteries were dead!
It’s our half way stop in coming down from Aberdeenshire to West Yorkshire we have used the hotel many times now and found nothing wrong, the staff are very friendly .
