Craig Y Glyn, hotel in Pwllheli

Craig Y Glyn enjoys a location in Pwllheli, 20 miles from Portmeirion and 10 miles from Nefyn & District Golf Club. This 4-star guest house offers private check-in and check-out.

We loved the warm welcome from Michelle and family. Such a well appointed property, beautiful rooms so tastefully designed and ultra clean. There are guest lounges and a lovely outdoor terrace to sit and enjoy a coffee in the sunshine. It is in a great spot by a lovely quiet beach and great walks around the headland with a visit to the Art Gallery with extensive views and a great. Cafe. We had breakfast at the beach bar twice, very good range. It was great being close to Abersoch and surrounding beaches. Thanks for a great stay and see you again!

    Quaint.

Quaint. Friendly people. good choice of eating places for the size of teh village. Clean. Delicious ice-cream! small superkarket which sells variety of goods. Poor mobile phone signal. Would recommend trip to Bardsey island but book in advance as it quickly gets booked up.

A small, pretty village with a nice beach, small supermarket, a couple of hotels where you can eat, a fabulous chip shop and bakery, a few cafes, a takeaway pizza and ice cream shops and a couple of tourist shops. Aberdaron is situated in beautiful countryside, great for walking though the steep hills in and out of the village may dissuade some.

The village people and guests gave us a warm welcome.

The village people and guests gave us a warm welcome. Alun was very friendly and made our stay comfortable and we loved that we could speak our native language Welsh with shop owners and people around and on the outskirts . We would have lov d to have visited Ynys Enlli , unfortunately the sea was too rough in our short stay . Better luck next to me. 😀

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a week’s stay in North Wales. It was the perfect spot in which to relax as it is away from the crowds and has a lovely beach. There are a couple of hotels, and one or two gift shops. We stayed and ate at the Ty Gwesty. There appeared to be coastal walks from the village but we didn’t do them.

The house was beautiful and had so much space. We were a family of 11 celebrating a 70th birthday and it was a perfect location. The pool table in the basement was very popular! A short walk down to Aberdaron where there were shops and a couple of nice pubs. Communication with our host Liz was excellent and the personal touch makes such a difference. Thank you for letting us stay

The location of the village and the Ship's own location in Aberdaron are fabulous. Also, we had a spacious and comfortable room with lovely sea view. Breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. Parking in the National Trust car park round the corner was included.
