Excellent location, literally in the city center. Rooms are very nice and clean with beautiful views to the old city roofs and leman lake. We traveled with my family and 10 months old baby, the staff was super friendly and supported us with all the requests we had for the baby. The part I loved the most of the hotel was the restaurant, they have an excellent menu composed of local products and wines, the quality of the food is exceptional and again the staff is super friendly.
I would strongly recommend this hotel to everybody. We will be back for sure in spring time!

The hotel is located at the heart of the medieval town, looking onto the marina. We were welcomed by friendly staff that had our key ready to go the minute we arrived. The rooms were spacious, nicely furnished overlooking the marina on the 2nd floor with a little balcony. The beds we large and comfortable with power outlets near the head of the bed on both sides. We didn't try the bar (closed) nor the restaurant.
Featuring lake views, L'Alcôve d'Amédée V offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 26 km from Jet d'Eau. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free WiFi. St.

Beautiful location, with lots of cafes and restaurants. Big room with a grand bed.
The medieval town is amazing, but so are the prices.
The medieval town is amazing, but so are the prices. Restaurant choices outside the village is very very limited.
What is annoying is the hours everything opened and closed.
Breakfasts open late - lunch at a certain time for some and different times for other restaurants.
It made us become a wizard in the village just searching for a restaurant with a time that suited us!
The boat trips are amazing and to be tried!
If you stay in a house in Yvoire (not in the village itself) you are liable for 5€ per head per day you sre there- payable to the owner. - The same price if you parked your car in the allocated parking spaces for the village visiting day tourists.

Great for photos.
very quiet before 10 AM (before the boats arrive).
In general quite expensive to buy anything.
Its verty good for a day trip from a neighbouring town but one doesn't ned a long stay to see the whole town as its tiny.

The locations was superb and the amenities were first class. The host family are truly lovley people and were extremely helpful and welcoming which helped to make our stay very enjoyable. As we had our dogs with us the ten minute walk to the centre of Yvoire was a bonus as there are rolling hills and forest walks on the doorstep.
