I stayed at Hôtel Restaurant Aux Deux Roses doing my 18-day cycle ride along the Rhine. The best thing about the hotel is the restaurant which is in the garden at the back of the building. The food and wine and ambience were superb. The building is a little worn and rustic and my room was nothing special but it was was clean and perfectly adequate. The hotel seemed to have mostly cyclists staying there when I did, since at breakfast five or six tables were occupied with guests wearing cycling gear. The historic nature of the town is another plus for this hotel, it's quite unique and would appeal to travelers interested in history.

Everything! Beautifully furnished, spacious, modern apartment with separate air conditioning units in every room (even the bathroom!) and every needed facility (including dishwasher and washing machine). Very comfortable beds and other furniture. And the best host ever! Frederic was incredibly friendly and helpful, showing us how to use all the facilities and offering suggestions for places to eat and things to see. The apartment is also close to the interesting fortified village of Neuf Brisach as well as within easy driving distance of Colmar.

Nice quiet location on the island in Rhine river, overlooking little lake. Walking distance to Breisach am Rhien with shops and restaurants. Also very good restaurant directly in the hotel. Excellent choice for turists, who want to cycle in Alsace or in Kaiserstuhl/Freibourg area. Good breakfast. Room with balcony, comfy beds.
Room was very spacious, clean, comfortable, lovely views, interesting location with the Canal d'Alsace and the Rhine on either side of the hotel. We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant and there was an excellent choice at the buffet breakfast. Plenty of safe parking.
A lovely spot by the rhine for a very agreeable hotel with plenty of room to park and wander. Room was large and modern with comfortable bed. Restaurant on site served typical german cuisine which was an interesting change.
