On arrival we were very impressed and admired the lovely flower boxes on the main building and on the grounds! However, check-in hours were NOT as advertised. We arrived on our bicycles at 16:20 hours, when check-in had been advertised from 14:00 hrs to 23:00 hrs. The auberge was completely locked up, with no note of explanation. On calling the owner, Natalie advised she would arrive in 2 hours and then arrived 2 1/2 hours later with no apology!!

it's a small countryside hotel with a heart. A real "auberge" with a restaurant and just a few rooms. Instead of a buffet an excellent breakfast served at your table. Small rooms but everything is well kept.
The location was good en route for the tunnel. Grounds and surrounding countryside picturesque. The hotel was a little quirky but clean and attractive. Dinner was good.
