Firstly, the bike room was excellent. It had numerous power points for charging our e-bikes. It was secure.
The hotel was still ‘grand’, if a little faded. It still has charm. The bedroom was huge with shuttered windows which kept it cool in the 30 degree heat.
The grounds and gardens were beautiful.
Excellent location, very good standard for 1star hotel. Hosts arranged for fresh gluten free bread in a nearby boulangerie. Breakfast was better than in an hôtel Mercure we stayed in the same trip
