Location was excellent for the Versailles Palace which was the main reason for the visit. Room a bit small but clean and had all facilities needed. Very quiet, friendly helpful staff.

Great location, close to the palace. Room was well maintained with a large private terrace which made up for the small room size.

Comfortable beds, but for 2 people very small (1,40m). Location was great, decent neighbourhood and 15 minute walk to the palace of Versailles. Rooms were big enough (bathrooms not)

Newly renovated so hotel was in excellent condition. The biggest positive was the service from the hotel team - were made to feel very welcome and everyone was at hand to make our stay the best it could be. They went above and beyond and also having the general manager visible and coming to speak to the guests added a personal touch. Food in the restaurant was excellent too. Would thoroughly recommend and we will definitely try to come back. Would also advise that it could act as a good base for visiting Paris as only 15min into central Paris on the train and Chateau de Versailles is truly stunning.

The palace and gardens of Versailles were amazing.
The palace and gardens of Versailles were amazing. Breathtaking. Once you leave the palace I don’t think you can re-enter. We missed out on buying souvenirs because of this. In August the park closes at 20.00 but many things finish before, some as early as 16.30, so worth checking schedules for events you’d most like to see. Also we took the little on/off train (which ceases at 18.00) to the Petit Trianon to access Queen Marie-Antoinette’s landscaped gardens centred around a hamlet of cottages. On a warm sunny day this was a lovely place to experience.

Everything is within walking distance, tourist attractions, food, shopping, groceries, necessities. Easy and many transportation options close by. Many of the employees of the restaurants, shops etc spoke some English and this made it easier to communicate for directions etc.

entry into the buildings is by a prebooked timed ticket only. It takes about two hours to get through the palace.
much of the palace is busy but not crowded, that is until you reach the heart of the palace, the hall of mirrors, where the crowds build up.
If you have a ticket that also permits entry into the grounds. You may need a further four hours to walk around the extensive area.
I ate in a small room at the side of the palace. prices felt very reasonable considering where we were eating.

We enjoyed seeing the Palace and associated artwork, the estate of Trianon, and the Palace grounds. There are many beautiful statues throughout the property. Touring the palace and grounds requires a lot of walking. We rented a golf cart to tour the palace grounds. The rental was 40 euro for the first hour and 10 euro for each additional 15 minutes. The golf carts were limited as to where you could go, and it took almost an entire hour to drive the route you were allowed to travel on while stopping to take a few photographs.

Beautiful, scenic and clean city. There are many eating areas with good local food especially near the Palace and gardens. We did not use the bus services as it was a bit confusing to figure out the routes

I was there the night of the Grand Masked Ball and it was lovely to see all of the costumed attendees going to the musical fountain displays and promenading before the fireworks display at Versailles!
The location of this hotel was excellent and just a very short walk from the Palace of Versailles. The general look of the place was also excellent. The staff were very friendly. However, there were a couple of things that were poor, and spoiled what would otherwise have been a very good stay (see below).
The advantage of the hotel’s location is that it is within easy walking distance of the Palace of Versailles (about 5 minutes). However, it was around 15 minutes to walk to the area around the market where all the restaurants could be found.
The overall hotel - cleanliness, staff, facilities. The location from the center and the palace of Versailles is within a moderate range - good for a taxi ride, however you can stretch it to a walk.
