This is a gem of a hotel with an incredible setting, absolutely outstanding food, great staff and art throughout which really sets this place apart from the many lovely hotels we have stayed at in Corsica. They had a locked space for our bike and really just loved this quiet oasis of calm beside the river.
The Hotel U Frascone is located in the village Venaco, halfway between Ajaccio and Bastia. The hotel is in the heart of the Corsican Mountains and offers private bathrooms and satellite TV.

Beautiful boutique style hotel in a cute little mountain town - the rooms were beautiful and the view was beautiful. Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight of the stay - staff were friendly and welcoming
We had a last minute booking and it was just for 1 night but what a surprise: such a lovely charming hotel and kind staff. We just slept here and had no breakfast but we felt very welcome. We had the room in the attic, under the old wooden beams, with the wonderful view on the mountains/hills; it was stunning. Very modern bathroom with a good shower and the staff made a reservation for us at a local restaurant because it would be busy. Very kind they organized this for us.
We could park the car at their own parking which was convenient.
Very nice and cosy place in the Corsica mountains. The owner Baptist was very helpful. On the first night at the Coco the rastaurant was closed and Baptist managed a reservation in the only restaurant at the Venaco immediately. Very good and fast communication. Coco is also very nice place to have a dinner at the terrace.
A fantastic place to stop for the night (or more) during your Corsican holiday. The hotel sets really high standards, from the river views room to the delicious restaurant. Friendly and professional staff.
Venaco is a gorgeous village; the walk from the B&B into the "centre" (restaurant, boulangerie, bar, shop) is beautiful, with lovely views. The hosts are friendly, and reply to emails quickly.
