Location was very convenient to us, at a walking distance from city center and restaurants. Staff very helpful. There is a garage attached to the hotel for a fee, but very convenient. We got the junior suite which was spacious and comfortable.

To be honest, Valence is an ugly city. The Rhone flows through it but alas large motorways beside it. The centre is a bit run down.
If you are on your way and are near it, you can visit the centre and have something to eat. There is a nice park near the river.

This was a forced stop but I didn't see anything that was worth visiting. It is just a small working town and the hotel we stayed in was a dump. Even taxi driver couldn't believe we would stay there. Also, you cannot hardly get an Uber...only 3 Uber drivers for whole city/town.

Nothing to see.
Nothing to see. It is a cozy small town without any interesting place. The center has some bars which are open after 19:00 but are expensive and low quality. The unique place you may like is a big park clise to river.

We loved the proximity of the hotel to the old part of town.
We loved the proximity of the hotel to the old part of town. There was convenient parking which led 1) to Penny Kenny's Irish pub (v. friendly) which was across from a magnificent city park, complete with a grand gazebo; then 2) loads of beautiful shops; then 3) many sweet little narrow streets with cafés, atmosphere of genuine conviviality and terrace drinking. What a friendly town. All so close to the Novotel Valence Sud, where we stayed.

Valence is a lovely place to come and stay for a few days or a few weeks. The town has lots of great restaurants and the cafe scene is quite good. I did find the number of SDF people so homeless quite alarming. They were harmless but there were a lot. As soon as it gets dark, they don't seem to hang around. Valence is a great staging point for the Vercors mountains and as a stay over into the Ardeche. We come to Valence regularly and really like it. There are some great little artisan places particularly along the Rue Des Alpes just going out of town. Try the Vallon bakery and the Epicurieux coffee and beer place...just amazing.

Great hotel location within easy walking distance to restaurants and town centre. Easy to access with good parking. Hotel room was large enough for the family, comfy and very clean. Staff were fantastic and supportive to even book us dinner in a lovely local restaurant. We will definitely stay here again during next stay in Valence.
My kids and I were travelling back home, and we found this hotel with a nice family room. One double bed and one single bed. The bathroom was quite big. Everything was very clean, and we were able to recharge the batteries before continuing our long journey back home.
The free parking facility is a huge plus.
The Apartment Hotel was well located within a short walk of the historic centre of Valence with its attractive streets, squares, bars and restaurants. The room had few frills but contained everything that we needed for our stay. It was great to have a car park on site.
