The city is a very convenient place for stopping off on a journey through France.
We ate at a restaurant called Octave - we’ve eaten there before and will do so again next week on our return to London

We had a long afternoon and evening in Troyes to take in the wonderful timbered buildings and squares. The restaurant choice was good and the street atmosphere great on a Saturday afternoon. With a little more time we might have done a little more and maybe a two night stay would have been nice to look at eg the vitrail exhibition.

We might never have stopped in Troyes but for the timing of the route we were driving. It was a delight and a surprise. The old town centre is comprised almost entirely of lovely old medieval buildings. We could easily have stayed another night and will come back.

It's just an amazing city with many sightseeing's that you may discover during the day and enjoy the light view late in the evening! Highly recommended, especially if you would like to taste the best champagnes brands of the region :)

Really friendly welcome. Well equipped, really large studio with secure underground parking. Excellent breakfast with a view of the old water mill.
The surrounding buildings are in the process of renovation, so if you are looking for a Disney version of France this isn't for you. If you want authenticity, a 10 minute walk maximum to the old town centre and friendly people then this is perfect.
Lovely boutique hotel just 10 minute stroll from the old town ot Troyes. Room was small but adequate for a 1 night stay. Great choice of restaurants in the square and very pleasant to wander around in the evening. Excellant breakfast served before we left. Free street parking.
A clean smart apartment, 10 minute walk to centre of Troyes. We loved Troyes, a medievil town. There was live music the evening we arrived and plenty of places to eat. A good stop off location to break up your journey to the South of France.
