This Chambre d'hote style accommodation is in the very quiet rural village of Tréméreuc, it is not a beachfront property as per the description, but is nevertheless a beautiful place to stay. The host (Gerard) is the most charming and congenial chap you could wish for and he would be one of the reasons to return to this location. We arrived on bikes after a long day's cycling (100km) and as the only open restaurants were 2km away in Pleurtuit, he gave us a lift in his car, where we ate at La Rance restaurant, which I can thoroughly recommend! Breakfast was a simple, but very tasty offering with tea or coffee, various breads, and Gerard's homemade preserves, perfect!
Air con in the room was very welcome as it was warm overnight.

Great host. Ideally situated for the port of St Malo. Lovely comfortable room with a large, but somewhat dated bathroom. Breakfast for all guests is plentiful and delicious and served at the large kitchen table. We headed into the next village of Pleurtuit for a superb dinner at restaurant La Rance.
