Simple room to sleep for a night. Even though it was bed and breakfast the breakfast was very basic.

There are two hotels opposite each other (approx 20 metres apart) - IBIS and IBIS budget. I booked the IBIS budget (although I had not realised there was a choice to book the other one - and I have no idea what the differences are). Check in was easy, computerised with an English language option. There was a receptionist (I did not see her until after I had checked in with the computer) who advised me that breakfast was only available from the other hotel because I had not booked in advance. Hardly a great hardship to walk across the road. The room was clean, warm and quiet. Good value for money. Signposting from the main road was excellent too.
A few miles from St Brieuc and the coast, Ibis Styles Saint Brieuc Plerin offers rooms for 1 or 2 people with double or twin bed and modern private bathrooms.
Located in Saint-Brieuc town, Hotel Edgar is just a 5-minute walk from the Saint-Etienne Cathedral. It offers air-conditioned accommodations with free Wi-Fi internet access.

Comfortable and spacious. Great location. Staff was very friendly
The hotel is easy to find and can be seen from the motorway. We were not bothered by any traffic noise. There is no microwave in the room but there is one for general use. The hotel is close to a large shopping centre. The room and bathroom were both small. The reception staff were pleasant and spoke English. Parking spaces are at the back of the hotel but apparently the gate is open all the time.
The breakfast was very good, there was a good balance of food and enough choice was available, food was regulary topped up by the very pleasant staff, we were more than satified, considering the excellent value of the hotel.
We only ever use hotels as a base, as we like to go off each day to other places, only really using the hotel to sleep and have breakfast.
Great place to stop off after a long journey. Just off motorway and great Pizza restaurant (that does way more) opposite. Staff at hotel were friendly and helpful. Car Park secure.
