On arrival the door was closed and no one replied. We called the owner by phone. He said: 'Dans le bar'. Very confusing. In the nearby bar the innkeeper was not very friendly. He negated us for some time. Then he passed the keys and made clear that he also did not know which key would fit in the lock of the front door. No one accompanied us to the location. But the appartement was fine, new and clean.

which needs repair. There's obviously no money for it. Near the
hotel, there was only one reasonable restaurant. The center is being terrorized by youth on very loud motorcycles. Toul is a place to avoid.

The apartment was large and the decor was eclectic, the overall effect was very pleasant.
The location was great, an easy walk into Toul and less than a 15 minute walk to the railway station with regular trains to Nancy.
The WiFi was fast but the log in details were not really advertised well.
The location near to the canal that we were fishing the World Championships.. The parking facilities. The nearness to restaurants and bars. The cost of the accommodation compared to hotels .Plenty of hot water. Quiet location.
It was well positioned on the outskirts of Toul and within walking distance of the town centre. A good sized room with clean bed linen and a comfy bed. It had a minibar. The host was pleasant.
