The hotel is very unique, including having a collection of vintage motorcycles and an automobile scattered around inside the hotel -- quirky but fun.

Pretty town....very walkable.
Pretty town....very walkable. The fosse Dionne was incredible and worth the visit. The Hotel Dieu and notre Dame are worthy of spending time as is the incredible Chevalier D'eon museum. We had the luxury of staying here and I wish it had been longer as Phillippe Luyt (a descendant of the Chevalier) runs the place and can take you through the museum...alas, he has only a little english and moi only a little French. The people of this town were delightful and friendly and the food wonderful.
The apartment was absolutely brilliant, really clean, comfortable, and beautifully equipped, the bed is the most comfortable iv ever slept in! Tonnerre is a gem, a diamond in the rough. It has stunning views and the Fosse Dionne (A Hydro vent.) is definitely worth a visit, as is the many churches in this gorgeous ancient town.
A good location in Tonnerre. The farm is an ancient building with lovely and interesting refurbishment. We stayed in the Astronomy room, with photos of scientists in the lounge. Breakfast was a good continental with excellent choices for tea. The owners recommended restaurants and sites to visit.
The host was very kind and helpful. He helped us with the baggages and help us tò find a restaurant in the Town of Tonnerres on monday evening when the majority of the restaurant were closed. The breakfast on the terrace was Amazing. Clean and nice rooms.
Very nice historic conversion with onsite bar and restaurant plus outdoor bar/dining in the courtyard. Friendly staff and great food. 15 minute walk down into Tonnerre.
