The sauna, the lake, the tennis court, the restaurant. We spent a lot of time in the sauna, including the one close to the lake.

It was very peaceful and in a nice part of the lake. It is also brand new and everything was spotlessly clean! Kitchen is also fully equipped. Also beautiful mountain view from the 2nd floor of the loft (bedroom).
Hotel du Chateau is a hotel located at the foot of Annecy Castle. It has views over the old town. The reception offers free WiFi. Guest rooms at the Hotel du Chateau are simply decorated.

The breakfasts are nice and this hotel is just what I like: charming, a little quirky maybe, congenial hosts, and beautiful. It has a view of the chateau and is convenient, albeit with some hills, to the old town. It also has a lovely terrace.
On average, 3-star hotels in Talloires cost $197 per night, and 4-star hotels in Talloires are $328 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Talloires can be found for $988 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).

Everything about the hotel is excellent EXCEPT :It was very poor that there was no management available in the middle of the night ( in the early hours of Thursday 24th August) to supervise the residents when the fire alarm sounded. The guests were confused and after the alarm stopped ringing the residents went back to bed. Then 5 to 10 minutes later the fire alarm rang again and the residents exited again without any hotel staff supervision or guidance. I learned the next day that these incidents were unexplained false alarms. There has been no formal communication about this from the Hotel. This is an expensive 4 star hotel and I think it is very poor show that the level of service they portray during the daytime is not matched during the night ! This is very disconcerting for a customer such as me. I would have expected an apology and some compensation for a ruined nights sleep for a very uncomfortable experience!

Talloires was as beautiful as ever.
Talloires was as beautiful as ever. Post-pandemic, the main holiday season seems to have truncated to July and August so visiting in June was agreeably quiet on the roads and for the facilities. However, some things like the facilities at La Clusaz in the Aravis mountains were not fully open, at least they were not on weekdays, not event the restaurants. This was not a major problem for us.

Talloires is a very nice village, away from the hustle and bustle of Annecy (very popular tourist destination). The lake makes this place very resting and very good to chill. Mountains are very close and offer a large choice of walking/hiking trails.

Talloires is an excellent choice for a relaxing break, with sailing by steamer on the Lake, or if you prefer lovely walks in stunning scenery.
The place is relaxing with little traffic, good cafes and restaurants. It is also ideal to sail by steamer or water taxi, ( speedboat ), to Annecy.

Talloire is a small village near Annecy lake, if you are looking for calm and great food (there are a buncyh of 5 stars restaurants near the lake) it is a very nice place.
Hiking is ok from there, but you still have a fair amount of walking before getting into the wild..

One of the most complete all year resorts.
One of the most complete all year resorts.
Beautiful scenery, summer weather mainly warm and sunny - plus the cleanest lake in Europe for swimming, water sports and boat trips.
Great area for foodies.
Surrounded by mountains for walking and cycling
Winter season offers skiing nearby both downhill and cross country
I guess I like the place!
Room had lovely view of lake, is in a prime location in Talloires a picture perfect town. Room was very good, spacious ,comfortable, air conditioning , nice bathroom. Building itself is obviously very old but restored keeping the old architectural features which gives a wonderful feeling of history. Wandered around the building taking in the ambiance. Private parking on site is great as no public parking nearby. Own stretch of lakeside sun loungers for guests, with beautiful views.
Lovely chalet style building but updated in a very sympathetic way. Good facilities - garden, pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna. Parking outside the hotel. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Lovely balcony with great views of Lake Annecy. There is no dining facility but you can order a great charcuterie and cheese platter with wine to eat on the terrace, in the lounge or on your own balcony
Very comfortable place, with everything that we needed.
the location is nice, quiet and very close to the lake and a beautiful village.
value for money 100%. Will be going back once we visit Annecy again.
The spa was lovely and the food at the restaurant was really delicious. The restaurant personnel was absolutely lovely. The location is amazing and the surrounding with the garden is pretty.
Great location, good pool, good service, excellent breakfast, very good restaurant, great room and bathroom, helpful staff, enough parking and again, great location.
