Great place for a relaxing stay. The hotel is located in a very calm village and has a very extensive garden where you han relax after a firm hike. Drinks are available all day. The restaurant is a real great restaurant and has a fixed menu. That makes it less suitable to stay more than 4 days as you may end up with the same dish again. But there are some nice brasseries nearby too. The hotel is ideal to stay when wanting to visit le Grand Ballon. Parking space in the immediate neighbourhood.

The rooms were very comfortable. The beds were high quality and the pillows were soft and plentiful. The blackout shades on the Velux windows made morning sleep a breeze for our toddler. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating and made us feel right at home. The selection of local wines on the menu was excellent. It was an easy five minute drive to the local town of Soultzmatt with some great tasting opportunities and tidy streets to stroll on.

Food was very good both at breakfast and dinner, SPA (pool, sauna and Jacuzzi) a bit old but stil clean and perfectly working. environment the most pleasant, eve if a but old-fashioned. access to very pleasant walks and hikings, room was ample, bed extremely comfortable, minibar is not overpriced (!!!) and very well equipped, lots of gifts and amenities. bathroom very clean and functional, linen are changed on request. Soultzmatt is a wine lovers dream destination, with multiple wineries located within the village itself. There are 2 great bakeries providing fresh bread 7 days a week and nice restaurants.
Walking is great, with signposted walks throughout the village, including Sandiego de Compostela for the very adventurous! It's also a great base for the Alsace region, with Cernay and Colmar within easy driving, or cycling distance.
It's kind of apart-hotel with 5 fully equipped flats. We stayed in flat 84m2 for 10 days and we did enjoy it.
All the rooms are big, well furnished, with a lot of storage space.
The swimming pool, the sauna, the air-conditioning were very much enjoyed by our family
It's great location, close to the village centre with the bakeries, restaurants and, especially, many wineries all within easy walking distance. There is great walking in the vineyards surrounding Soultzmatt directly from the property.
