The location near the centre of Sisteron was perfect, within walking easy distance of the Citadelle. The railway station was a 10-15 minute walk. Breakfast was very good for a small hotel, with plenty of choice. The reception hours are limited, but staff were very accommodating in accepting my late evening arrival.
Situated in front of the citadel in the historic area of Sisteron, Hôtel Le Patio de Sophie offers a shared lounge. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi.

Location is perfect and the hotel room is so very beautifully and creatively decorated. Above standard than most French hotels we've stayed in.

La piscine et la bonne table, personnel accueillant
It's a charming town with narrow hilly streets. Enjoyed La Citadelle visit - the views from there are fantastic. The best restaurant we can recommend is L'Oppidum - we ended up eating there 3 times (2 lunches and dinner) during our 3-day trip. The other good restaurant was Brassero near the cathedral. There is a very good gift shop "La Taste".

We stayed overnight in Sisteron on our way to Gilette, near Nice. Unfortunately the weather was cold and grim, this spoiled it for me, however it is an attractive small town with a variety of shops and the landscape all around is magnificent.

The location is fantastic.
The location is fantastic. It's great being in town and the town is really beautiful. They could certainly use some professional staff and not rely so heavily on the young ones to greet the customers. The bar and restaurant area is dated and devoid of character. It's a shame because the location is really really great.

A small but very cosy house close to the historic centre of Sisteron. The kitchen is very well equipped, with dishwasher, microwave and oven. There is even a washing machine in the bathroom. Aneta, the host, is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely like to come back.
Fabulous location! On the cliffs looking down to the river. Charming, efficient staff. Simple but very comfortable room.
Had a lovely meal of sisteron lamb, of course, looking down to the river and up to the huge rock on the opposite bank.
Sisteron buzzes with atmosphere. .

The hotel is in a very central position to visit this interesting town.
Parking, opposite, is very cheap.
The kettle in the room is always welcome.
The breakfast was good
Everything so, very welcoming, and nothing was too much. And the room had the best of you in the whole of Sisteron. Very easy to park bicycles in garage securely as well.
