Had a wonderful stay at Mamie house . The house has has everything you need for the perfect holiday . Great location easy walk into local town with good restaurants, shops . Very beautiful part of France so much to do and see . Also lovely welcome gift of local produce on arrival . We are very much looking forward to returning soon .

Firstly, the cheerful welcome we received . We stayed in the Marqueyssac gite which proved to be very comfortable.
As we stayed towards the end of September we ate the wonderful breakfasts inside. We booked and ate two evening meals during our five night stay. They were both delicious, Pascal is an excellent chef. It was fun sitting around the large dining table with our hosts and other guests. Sylvie would translate between languages if necessary.
We used the sun beds by the pool one afternoon but we didn’t swim.
There are a lot of interesting places to visit in the area.
I think Sylvie and Pascal have thought of everything…..we had a fabulous stay.

Wow, what a place to stay. Everything is immaculate and our host Olivier was welcoming, informative and friendly. The view from the rear of the property across a valley is lovely too. Very quiet location. There was nothing to criticize. Stay there if you can - we highly recommend it.

Le Trèfle a Quatre feuilles is a quiet country hotel with a great restaurant. The surrounding villages and countryside are wonderful for walking or driving around and the medieval architecture is inspirational. A car is an absolute necessity There is not a lot to do in mid winter and many of the smaller shops are closed so the area is for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy the delicious food and local wine and wallow in the history dating back to the crusades and Richard the Lionheart. In summer there are lots of markets selling anything from vegetables to antiques and one would probably want to choose a hotel with a pool

We stayed for 2 nights due to business. It is the most beautiful location, with the most delightful owners, who were always around to help with anything we needed. The restaurant within the hotel is fabulous, and the homemade breakfast is just another level of yumminess !

- Very good restaurant at the hotel. To be honest, we did not expect such a quality restaurant, really enjoyed.

The welcoming atmosphere here was truly unbeatable. All the food we ate at the hotel was incredibly delicious and had special local touches. The rooms were spacious and decorated unpretentiously and with a cozy feel.
Beautifully located hotel directly on the Dordogne river with a restaurant overlooking the river and a beach in front of the garden. Very friendly staff. The bedroom and bathroom of our suite were very comfortable.
