Location is ideal. Nice and quiet. Very clean. Staff are very welcoming.
Nice little town. Excellent base to visiting the Morvan.
Nice little town. Excellent base to visiting the Morvan. Many walks nearby. Wonderful places to visit: Autun, Avallon, Semur-en Auxois, Vezelay***, Auxerre. Beautiful lakes. The town boasts one of the best restaurants of France, if not the whole world. It is truly mythical. But it will cost you an arm and a leg. If you stay in an apartment you can enjoy buying your own food in the many shops. Or on the saturday market.

It's an old historical building that is very charming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with a couple 80+ of age and they were given an appropriate room for their needs. We really appreciate this.
Breakfast, that was charged extra, was plentiful and great. Try the locally made yoghurts and the jams! Don't miss the market on Saturday morning just next to the hotel.
Plenty of parking spaces available - if all are taken in front of the hotel, there is free parking just across the street.

We had an excellent stay at Pied a Terre Saulieu. The hosts were welcoming, kind and helpful in all ways.
The room was just what we needed: well decorated clean and very comfortable. Beyond expectations!
If you are traveling in the region, I would highly recommend reserving a room here!
Location is as good as it gets. Pleasant public areas to sit and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine. Just across the road is an excellent bistro, which is owned by the hotel further up the street which has a 3 star Michelin restaurant.
