We stayed in August and communication with host was quite easy and polite way. The property was enough spacious. And some toys/puzzles were really helpful my child to play. Even though we don't drink alcohol, it was kind of them to gift us a bottle of rosé in the fridge.

We were very pleasantly surprised to find that we had both a bedroom and a sitting area. We were also surprised to find that we had breakfast, as the listing seemed to suggest that it was room only. That was particularly useful, as eating places in the town were to put it kindly, disappointing. Isabelle and Michel were excellent hosts.

Nice little town with a Super U supermarket in town and Intermarche just outside. Market on Saturday morning and lots of shops and cafes (although not a lot was open - may be because we went late in the season.

Long bumpy single lane farm track to reach property. Accommodation is a farm situated on mountainside with nice views, but rooms are in need of upgrading as furnishings are rather tired. Hosts very welcoming. Most food is produced & processed on the farm. Being a farm - there are lots & lots of flies everywhere.

It's a small industrial town that sits in the Valley of Silver (Val d'Argent) right in the middle of the Vosges mountains. It's well located if you want to explore the mountains, but the wine road is also 30 min away. There are not a lot of good restaurants, unfortunately, so you will often find yourself leaving town for meals.

The town looked a bit "tired" and the hotel itself was a bit elderly and rambling. To have a rustic feel in the restaurant is acceptable but the room needed a sweep or hoovering. The owner, despite me asking in French for her to speak slowly, refused to do so. Although we ate in the restaurant I didn't understand what two dishes we had ordered until they arrived and even then only one of them. There was no menu !
We were looking for a 1 day stay after our long trip but we just loved this hotel and we will come back in winter! They were the most hospitable hotel owners I have encountered in my life, everything incredibly clean, large room and bathroom and great breakfast. Our dog ran freely in the garden and had fun with the owner's dogs. Thank you very much for everything!
The location of the hotel is in a charming commune surrounded by hiking areas. Philippe is a very helpful and welcoming host. We enjoyed our excellent breakfast while our dog was having fun in the garden with her furry friends. Everything is very clean and perfect. Thanks again!
