The location, rooms and staff were great. We had the buffet breakfast which was excellent with a lot of choice.
Parking (free for 45 minutes) immediately outside to allow drop off of bags and longer term paid parking available within 75m of hotel (3 hours parking cost 3 euro, free overnight).
Despite the late check in time given on Booking.com, we contacted the hotel and they allowed us to check in early afternoon. Would recommend if you want a hotel close to the centre but also quiet overnight.

Location and easy secure parking. The place was clean and for breakfast or a light meal the kitchen was ok. Shower was good-powerful and plenty of hot water. Neat little enclosed terrace at front-ideal if you have a pet or a child as they would be safe. There is a room with a washing machine which anyone can use. Good recycling facilities. Just a 5 or 10 min walk to the main square. People in St Omer were very friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent . Close to amenities. Private parking.
I've been to St. Omer a few times. This trip was just an overnight break to do some pre-Christmas shopping. Saturday market was full of locals shopping for food and clothes. Nice atmosphere. Nice dinner at Le Phare.

Pretty town and very convenient for the ferry.
Pretty town and very convenient for the ferry. We had a great French meal in a local restaurant in a street dedicated to bars and restaurants.
French waiters and bar staff were friendly despite out limited French. Would definitely go back.

Saint-Omer is a lovely old town with generally quiet streets full of history.
The cathedral is an absolute monster of a building and well worth a visit, look out for the huge organ. Plenty of restaurants and bars but one has a very bespoke theme, Les 3 Caves, go the downstairs part and look at the ceiling 😎. Not only shall we return to Saint-Omer but I personally would like to live in the area later in life...........so calm and quiet.

If you like history and would like a taste of small town Northern France then St Omer is an ideal option. The blend of history, culture and the friendliness of a small town can't be beaten!
I made a side trip to La Coupole and found myself engrossed in the overwhelming history of the V2 rockets and the suffering of local French people at the hands of the NAZI regime.
The local buses are superb as is the train net work too!

Saint-Omer is close enough to not be too much of a challenge to get there yet, French enough to experience the local life. Lots of history, nice walks, good food and excellent cafés and bars. A Saturday market, a lovely park, friendly people and just a place we love to go to whenever we need to relax.

Lots of side streets and little shops, beautiful central square with a stunning theatre building. Very pleasant to wander around. The station building was particularly impressive. We stayed at chic o rail, which has a restaurant serving absolutely delicious food.

We were very happy with our stay at Le Coquet. The host responded promptly to any questions and the check-in and departure procedures were straightforward. The property is well situated for a short wander into the centre of St Omer. The apartment was quiet and well appointed. For a short stay for a couple, Le Coquet is a clean, no frills and reasonably priced option.
A super little hotel located in the centre of St Omer, but within 200 metres of a free public car park. Many bars and restaurants within very short walking distance. Restaurant was closed Sunday evening - as expected - but the breakfast in the morning was a delight.
This is precisely what you would expect from an International Chain hotel. Very efficient, very comfortable but, compared to a family run establishment, rather bland.
