Good location and a place was provided to store our bicycles. The receptionist gave us a restaurant recommendation for dinner, which was helpful. Breakfast was very good too.

During August many bars and restaurants were closed or only open limited hours. The two boulongeries and the epicerie were perfect though. You really need a car to get into Le Cheylard for many things though. The village bathing lake was excellent and there is another even better one in Lamastre. The mountains and views are absolutely stunning, perfect for walking and cycling holidays. The Elyrium is an excellent pool too.
