The usual basic Ibis level, but with a fresh touch and care of design, so it gives a nice, almost luxury impression, both lobby and rooms. Impeccably clean, staff at the lobby and cleaning lady extremely helpful and friendly. It feels like a beloved village family inn, not an Ibis chain unit.

From the moment we checked in, Mary, at reception, greeted us with her friendly professional and exceptional hospitality. We were early, but Mary found immediate accommodations for us which was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Mary even escorted us to our room. A first for me. Breakfast, included in stay, was delightful too. We will of course be recommending booking for all of our family & friends, and anyone else who may travel to Basil, Switzerland. Loved our stay from beginning to checkout.

The reception and check-in were OK.
The reception and check-in were OK. However, upon arriving at the 2nd-floor corridor, the strong smell of air fresheners or cleaning products was quite unpleasant. Entering the room, the smell was again unpleasant, reminiscent of an old and unclean carpet. Cleanliness is definitely not their strongest aspect; the floor was dirty and covered with a cheap, smelly carpet. Additionally, the room in general, and the toilet area in particular, were worn out and poorly maintained.
I stayed in a room with two single beds. One mattress was saggy and uncomfortable, so I switched to the second bed, which was better.
The location is perfect if you want to visit Basel. The staff at the front desk were nice and helpful, and the breakfast was good. There is also a nice supermarket and bakery just across the road.

We reached the property at night and received a call from the host prior, who was very friendly.
Once we reached the property, we weren't able to locate the exact apartment nor find the right parking lot. Thanks to a neighbour who helped in getting us to the property and also advised us to park in one of parking allotted space whichever is free.

Very much ‘budget’.
Very much ‘budget’. No air conditioning at night (started up in morning). Bed hard as a rock. WiFi not connecting to internet. Basic TV channels with no foreign language service. No tea/coffee making facilities. Was a Plus that windows opened on a hot night. Staff courteous, some with English. No where near airport. Did offer free pickup one way only. Took an age to arrive. Not close to rail station either. Would not stay there again

Convenient location at a very reasonable price. We were able to buy groceries and prepare some meals at "home" in the apartment. Everything was very clean. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I liked that it was very closed to Basel, Strasbourg, Colmar...
I liked that it was very closed to Basel, Strasbourg, Colmar,, Bern and Freiburg, wich me and my family had visited with a hired car.
I did not liked the noise in the nights, form the airplanes (the airport is also near), but I still have slept ok.

The location is perfect if you search for a place to stay for 1 night when you passing through. The location is also perfect if you need just a place to stay when you want a short trip to Basel. Bustrip takes only 20 minutes. Airport Bases bus trip takes only 10 minutes.
Super funky hotel. Staff very helpful. The restaurant was lovely and food delicious. Room nice and quiet. Free shuttle to airport. Would not recommend taxi from train station to hotel as quite expensive for 5 miles
The location is very central for Saint Louis (bakeries and supermarkets nearby) as well as to get into Basel town by public transport/car. The apartment is easy to find and feels very safe. It is worth the money.
