The location is great and right by a number of restaurants. Good parking and facilities to store safely large items such as a bicycle. A nice late checkout time allows plenty of time before leaving (especially if you are tired).
Hotel Neste de Jade is located opposite the new cable car that offers easy access to the ski slopes.

This hotel is awesome from the moment you step into the lobby, which smells like coffee and chocolate and looks like a cozy mountain cabin. The rooms were flawless, with comfy beds, wooden floors and an amazing bathroom. The cherry on the cake was the breakfast, abundant, super good and with great variety. Finally, the value is incredible, truly a gem.

This little ski town truly has gorgeous views and is in a very beautiful natural setting. I wish we had been able to stay for more than just one night, but I’m glad we got a chance to go! Getting around is easy on foot. The town has lots of cafés and little shops. It also has a great outdoor gear store and a large shoe shop! When we were there a concert was being played and it was lovely to hear it from the outside of the structure where it was being played. It gave a very nice cozy feel to the experience.

This is a charming alpine village at the foot of the Pyrenees with its own cable car and ski station but also within reach of at least two other ski stations. It has a good selection of bars and restaurants and must have hosted generations of alpine activity.

Lovely town in the perfect summer location if you like walking or cycling up mountains (and skiing in the winter). The ideal place to get away from it all.
Plenty of places to eat, supermarket, bars etc...
Evolution bike hire were fantastic, can't recommend them enough.
If you like cycling uphill, you must cycle up Lac de Cap-de-Long. It's 23k to the top from Saint-Lary-Soulan, and although tough, is worth all the effort.

We recently spent our 10 year anniversary traveling France and seeing a few stages of Le Tour de France. Our favorite stay, without a doubt, was in St. Laury at THIS hotel. Not only was our room charming with all the modern touches expected but it was in the perfect location too. Our host Pierre was helpful with tips and he even let us help him feed the chickens that provided us with fresh eggs for the full breakfast served each morning. AND, with local cheese, meats and fresh croissants. There are lovely gardens and several spots to sit and soak up the fresh mountain air. The food, conversation and accommodation were lovely and we not only recommend but hope to go back asap!

Attractive town, lovely scenic walks.
Attractive town, lovely scenic walks. Not too busy at the right time of year.
La Grange restaurant very nice as well as the Kinto restaurant. The Grill in the main street also good for a pizza! All had friendly and helpful staff.
When not in the peak holiday time a lot of restaurants are closed on a Sunday and Monday we found the first weekend we arrived.
The tourist information was not always accurate as to what was open and what was not, maybe needs updating by the individual restaurants?

This is a charming old school hotel at the foot of the mountains in a lovely alpine village. I am sure it has hosted generations of skiers over the years. It is full of period posters and photographs of skiers and past alpine life. I had a lovely room with a balcony and a view of the mountains and the staff were charming on arrival. There is a good car park and lovely bars and restaurants nearby.
It’s cosy, centric apartment, in the quiet street, but only a few meters from the center. It had everything we needed, and private parking (not underground). You need to bring your own sheets and towels, as well as clean the apartment before you leave, but this was something that we knew before booking. The apartment was ready before the check it time, which was great.
Fabulous location. The staff were lovely. The rooms pretty basic. A kettle would have been great but there is a restaurant downstairs. We ate there for lunch & 2 dinners. The food was really good. Ski shops close by. Parking free in front of the hotel.
