A hidden gem! Our original hotel we booked cancelled and we had to find another at short notice. How delighted we were to find this only a few km off the A89. Rooms are really modern, spacious with a large bathroom. We dined in the restaurant and the food was amazing. Extremely good value for money. Parking was available right outside the hotel.
The location was very good for us as we were travelling across France towards the Italian border and this hotel was just slightly off our route in a quiet small town. We had a very nice meal in the restaurant and were a little surprised at the sophisticated menu as it was not to be expected in such a small town.
My wife left her old mobile in the room and the owner has kindly mailed it back to our French address and is being extremely patient in waiting for us to reimburse the postage.
Despite a problem with Booking.com that didn't record that the hotel was closed, the owners were waiting for me when I checked in. I was immediately upgraded to a better room and was also offered dinner in my room. Food was exceptional, the cheese board perfect as was breakfast in the morning. Being the only guest in a hotel was a new experience, slightly strange but rather enjoyable.
