This is a good size spacious hotel and the room was very comfortable. Checkin staff friendly but we did not use the restaurant or breakfast.

Location is excellent with wonderful staff. Fellow pilgrims were exceptionally noisy in the morning. No reflection on the hostel though.

A сosy small house, the whole ground floor, with a marvelous view to hills from a roofed terrace. Comfortable beds in two bedrooms, small living room with two sofas and TV and a pretty bathroom with a pebble-floor shower. Kitchen is equipped with all basic necessary stuff. Calmness and silence all around.
It was a very pretty village/ Town in the mountains.
It was a very pretty village/ Town in the mountains. Suitable for walkers with lovely cafe's and restaurants and useful supply base before starting the camino. Local people were very friendly and quirky as well. It is full of character and history.

SJPDP is the traditional starting point for el Camino de Santiago's French route. You can feel all the positive energy and excitement from the Peregrinos at portas of their journey.
Although the first stage from SJPDP, crossing the Pyrenees to Spain, is challenging the journey and the satisfaction of completing it is multiple times more rewarding and will remain as a memorable experience!

There is surely more to do and see in Saint Jean-Pied-de-Port than we had time for. The Hotel Ramuntcho was perfect in every way. We were in town only for one night before beginning the Camino, and we would have been delighted to stay longer had time allowed.

Breakfast was very good. A shame that some guests think it's ok to steal food for their lunch. Breakfast very good, we had a parking space for our motorcycle. Room had a nice balcony, & the hotel is right in the centre of lots of bars and restaurants.
Ramshackle kind of place which is fine is you are cool with that. Sleeping accommodation in a 10 bunk dorm with adjacent bathroom was clean and comfy. Very friendly hosts. Basic adequate French breakfast.
