It’s a family guesthouse. Very warm host. The “table d’hôte” (dinner) was fabulous. Very nice company too among the guests, some of whom, who are regular, confirmed this is a tradition at l’Estapade. A place that makes you feel like at home, away from home.

The staff was super friendly and helpfull. The room was good value and clean. There was enough parking space and the friendly owner allowed us to use his personal charger for our electric car (he calculate it and then charges you for what you used). Decent restaurant attached to it. Hotel has freee wifi and the vieuw is amazing!

We loved the setting of this hotel, with its beautiful mountain views, great park, and proximity to the town. St Jean is a small town but very well supplied with restaurants, patisseries and specialty shops. The staff were friendly and the public areas inviting - bar, fireplace, terrace. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. We appreciated the secure private parking. This would be a lovely place for a long stay.

A great place to discover the Vercors. You have some hikes starting from the hotel. We went to plateau d'Ambel for the red deer rut and had an amazing photo trip https://nicolas-shin.myportfolio.com/vercors
The room was very clean and well laid out, the bed was fresh and comfortable. The views from the balcony were wonderful. A very nice location. The hotel itself is in good shape, clean and inviting.
