Wonderful stay in a beautiful and scenic site at the base of the castle town of St. Flour. The exterior was medieval and the interior was modern and felt like home. Peter (Pierre) was an excellent chef and caretaker.

The hotel was extremely good value for money. It was clean and our room was large and modern. The food was pleasant and again good value. The staff particularly the owner (?) were helpful and efficient. There is an impressive range of pool and sauna facilities which we didn't in fact use. It is very quiet being at the end of a road but there was no problem finding it. For the price it could hardly be bettered and we are likely to go back
The short notice booking was efficient. The young lady who seemed to do everything was totally on the ball. The breakfast was classic continental and from 6.30 to 9.30 and the best thing was Thatthe hotel was only 2km from the main road and clearly signed. An essential hotel in a great location.
