The hotel itself was nice, but we were disappointed to find the restaurant shut on arrival, even though I’d emailed twice and competed a questionnaire requesting dinner. The main reason we’d booked was because of the great reviews and our only option for dinner after a long drive was another drive to an industrial estate, but town, hotel and staff all nice.
