Clean and modern room that were quiet although in the center of the city and on a high traffic street. Very good restaurant for dinner. Happy to have AC for hot days.

The apartment was very nice and warm, which was great as it was freezing outside. There was plenty of hot water and the washer worked well. The bed was comfortable, as was the couch in the living room.

I spent 3 nights at Le 1837. It is not a hotel nor a b&b. It is a "résidence de tourisme". That is what they told us as the reason why they would not serve breakfast nor would give us handsoap or shampoo.
Our accommodation was a fully equipped small apartment, spacious and comfortable. The location was great, just 2-3 minute walk from downtown and a 5-minute walking distance from a public EV charging station, which was handy(although slow) for us. Parking wss easy and staff was very cordial.
The representative that welcome us on the first day did not speak English, or Italian or Spanish (that was all I could offer!). We therefore used Google Translate to understand each other. She said she was a seasonal worker. I guess they don't get a lot of foreign tourists.
We booked last minute, litterally 10 minutes before showing up. She could not find us in the system. She called her boss who told her how to sort it out.
There is a nice board game room with AC where I was able to work a few times, nobody else was there.
All in all a positive experience.

it looks like a very simple hotel and we didn't expect much as we were anyway just there for one night. But we were so surprised! The dinner was excellent! The service and kindness of the host was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would definetely recommend and go there again.
Nice and clean room and bathroom, easy to reach by car, there's a private car parking space, staff very friendly and helpful, village of Saint-Affrique with restaurants etc. close by. Wonderful breakfast with differrent local produce. Big shared kitchen available (I didn't use it though).
A gem, not what I had expected, well thought out rooms and very nicely appointed. Owner was most helpful and very accomodating. A number of other hotels could do well emulate his approach.
Excellent dinner, overall experience was positive and good value.
I was visiting the Aveyron region . The hotel was a great base to do this ... very friendly and competent staff , easy and plenty of parking . The breakfast was always very good .
