This place is quite exceptional with its garden veranda and romantic decoration, and the host is well present and cares about it. The room is spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and a silent heat pump (AC). The home-made continental breakfast was delicious, and we could park our car in a (tight) park box overnight for a small 5 Euro fee.

We enjoyed our stay at the unique Maison Pop, using the pool and relaxing in the lovely garden. Gabriel and his wife are very friendly hosts. The appartment is located in a quiet neighborhood and the restaurants in the city center can be reached by foot within 10 to 15 minutes. Romans-sur-Isère is a lovely city with and old town and an ideal base to ride the bikes along the Isère cycle path to Valence or to Saint Nazair en Royans.
Location, quality of accomodation, and mostly the exceptional hospitality of the owner. Sylvie was very amiable and we spoke about many subjects in French - an excellent opportunity to practice and also interesting. It’s the kind of opportunity that is unavailable in a (more expensive hotel) and I’d encourage every traveller to stay here and at equivalent places on their trips.
The breakfast was good. We had also two dinners at the hotel and the quality of the food was really good. The wines we chose were good, too. The staff was really friendly. We had the hotel conference hall as a storage room for our bikes and we appreciate it a lot.
great location, a few mins walk from the old town. Many restaurants and bars close by. The lady running the hotel is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very nice. Amazing value for money!
