The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The man who arranges check-in a very fair and good-spirited person. He was the best part of this property and tried his best to accommodate me despite three major problems with the property. I cancelled my second night at Le Bon Moire and was given a full refund for that night without any problem. The gentleman who runs this property is a very good and decent fellow. I regret that I have to post such a negative review because I respect and value him tremendously as a person.

The largest city in the Champagne-Ardenne, Reims is inextricably linked with this region’s famous sparkling wine. Reims has a lively and bustling centre. Great cathedral, well worth a visit. The market halls (not open every day, I believe) a nice to spend some time and buy foodstuff or wines. Reims is convenient for visit to the champagne area.

Reims is a lovely small French city.
Reims is a lovely small French city. The cathedral is the main draw, and I did visit it three times during my two day stay. But there is also a second historic church, the Saint Rémi, worth visiting. The town has a fascinating layout, with both older residential buildings around and over the shops, and newer apartment buildings around the edges of the city. The newer buildings have spacious balconies and many overlook the river. There is a lovely river walk (the Coulée Verte) that I highly recommend. There is an opera company and several museums,as well as seasonal festivals. It is an easy city to visit. There are attractive parks and gardens, and a broad pedestrian thoroughfare lined with a variety of restaurants and pubs. There is public transport, but I walked everywhere.

Reims is wonderful! A mix of young and old with plenty to do and see. The champagne house tours are interesting and informative. Many things are in walking distance and the people are generally friendly and tolerant of (polite) Americans.

Reims is a beautiful city, the centre of the champagne region in France: full of history and significant historical buildings and champagne houses. Below ground there is another world of chalk caves that house the city's champagne stores for global brands such as Tattinger and Veuve Cliquot. The tasting tours of these houses are a must.
We loved the restaurants and markets too. Gabriel a hightlight just near the magnificent cathedral.
Our accommodation at La Demeure Des Sacres was excellent.
Reims is easy to access with a train station in the centre of town and provides a good access point for trips to Epernay, Ay and other stunning towns not too far away.
The hotel is conveniently situated not far from the motorway. We love the fact that it is within easy walking distance of the city centre, all the places of interest and all shops and restaurants. The underground parking is secure and means we can leave things in the car. The rooms are always clean and our dog is welcome. There are also parks and paths for her to walk nearby. The staff are always helpful and friendly.
One block from the city centre and easy to reach on foot from the Gare in about 30 mins, or by tram which stops nearby. Also about 30 minutes to the university. A cosy, well equipped studio for a couple to visit Reims or for a work trip. The host is very responsive.
A lovely hotel right in the centre of Reims. It's trendy and spacious and everything was really nice. We had breakfast outside in the secluded garden from a huge choice on the buffet. Electric car charging was perfect for an overnight stop on the way South.
Wonderful old-style hotel hidden in central Reims. Continental breakfast is amazing, staff is very kind & attentive. Overall one of the best options to stay in Reims in walking distance to the cathedral and other objects of interest.
Staff on reception were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. Hotel in a great location for the centre of Reims and great access back to auto route.
