Staff is very friendly, hotel is dog friendly (you still have to pay for a dog though). Restaurant is nice but 50/50 - my diner was delicious, my husband order different dishes and they weren’t very good. Room is simple and comfortable but a bit old.

Didier was a great host, he called us several times to make sure we understood the check in process. Even though we arrived late, everything was smooth. The apartment has a kitchen with coffee machine, kettle, fridge and freezer and there is wi-if too.

Very practical and cute lodgings in a relaxing environment, surrounded by nature. Comfortable bedding even the sofa bed. Great for access to Vulcania and nearby walks.

Pontgibaud is an ideal location to stay for visiting Auvergne. It has a Maison de Sante with great doctors. One or two interesting shops and a small weekly market and of course bakeries with excellent bread and pastries.

Property was convenient for our one night stay on the way through to Bordeaux.
While the hotel is dated the bedding was comfortable, towels fresh and clean and the heating was excellent.
We also ate at the restaurant that night and it was great.
