Without doubt the welcome from our hosts, who could not do enough for us, eg, they even trolleyed our wine from our car boot to their cellar so that it could be in a proper temperature during our brief stay. They also provided utensils for us to enjoy an evening salad which we had bought. Excellent local information on places/beaches to visit and restaurants, with bookings made for us. We had been traveling in France for 3 weeks, and we rated the breakfast here as one of the best....and to eat to a piano recital was extra special, as was the history of the Le Manoir in connection with the Resistance in WW2. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Our basic command of the French language did not prove to be a major issue and we really enjoyed our stay. The option of having some really nice, home cooked evening meals available was a bonus, as was the option of purchasing reasonably priced drinks on site. There are some animals on site (chickens, geese and a lovely cat) which are well managed, surprisingly quiet in the mornings and added to the charm and charisma of the property. Loved it, thank you.

We were upgraded to a suite - which came as a nice surprise. Therefore our room was very spacious - in fact there were two rooms and a bathroom. We had a very nice view on Dinan's rooftops. We had an electric kettle and a small fridge in the room as well. The location is very central - a perfect place to stay who would like to explore Dinan on foot.

Excellent location for the centre of Dinan. Lovely staff, easy to sit in lounge and have a drink. Bedroom large and quiet, overlooking gardens, very clean and bathroom looked new.
