브르타뉴 서쪽 끝 르 콩케의 아름다운 등대 생 마티외를 찾아 갔고, 등대를 바라볼 수 있는 숙소를 선택했다. 한달 동안 프랑스 전역을 여행중이었으므로 숙소 경비를 높게 지출하지 않으려고 했는데, 이곳만은 예외적으로 경비를 들여 예약했다. 제공되는 수영을 하지 못했지만 등대와 석양의 일몰, 해안 하이킹, 또다른 등대 케르모르방까지 다녀올 수 있어서 매우 만족스러웠다. 남프랑스나 노르망디, 루아르 중부 지방과 동부 알프스 쪽까지 여행을 많이 했고, 브르타뉴 지방 여행을 많이 하지 않았는데, 이번에 특유의 야생적이면서도 서정적인 매력에 푹 빠졌다. 이 숙소가 그곳에 있었다.
