The owner texted us beforehand and ensured we are okay, gave us direction to the apartment. The apartment was clean, had utensils and pots ready to cook dinner. Very clean.

Pertuis is an unglamorous, normal, quite large village located not far from interstate A51, the vertical highway that divides the eastern and western halves of inland Provence. From Pertuis, it was easy to get to both our westernmost destinations (i.e., Avignon) and our easternmost destinations (i.e., the Gorges du Verdon), as well as to Aix-en-Provence to the south, yet the village was completely non-touristy. I would definitely stay there again.

At first the location looks a bit odd, but inside the grounds, everything is incredible! Loved that the owner's dogs and cat had free reign of the hotel and were super friendly.
