The restaurant was WONDERFUL! The food and the service were just perfect! They even made a brownie cake (per my bestie's request) for my birthday! The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are lovely! We had a glorious time!

Our experience was exactly what we needed. A beautiful cozy place in the middle of nature. You wake up with the sound of birds. The house has everything you need if you need to cook simple things. This was the most magical part of my recent three week trip around Italy and France. The actual “room” is really a gorgeous loft with views of the beautiful grounds outside. The location is heavenly. The owner was such a wonderful hostess and she took such good care of me from the moment I arrived late (past midnight) to the moment I left. Agathe made the most amazing breakfasts including homegrown eggs from her cute chickens to homemade jam, local cheese and bread. She also prepared a three-course dinner that was worthy of a Michelin star. She served wine from her family’s vineyard and helped me get around the local sites. Honestly I could have stayed with Agathe for a week just relaxing abs enjoying the beauty of her countryside home. I will return with my husband sometime soon for a romantic retreat. I give this property ten stars!!

The front door to the lobby was locked when we arrived in the afternoon. The lobby and desk area lights turned off every few seconds while we were check ing in. There were no other guests around and only 1-2 cars outside. The halls were dimly lit. There was no elevator and our room was on the 2nd floor. There was no hot water machine for coffee or tea in the room. It was close to Giverny and that is the only thing positive about this hotel.

This was the second time we have stayed here en route to the South of France and back. It is a real find and the staff were absolutely perfect. In fact the whole stay was perfect. Restaurant was serving great food as well. Small hotel which we loved. Will definitely stay there next time we head south.
the Staff were really good. we were to reached the hotel 3 hrs late due to flight delay. by the time we reached it was midnight, but the staff had really organized the alternative checkin and we didnt hvae to face any trouble.
Beautifully decorated, thoughtful hotel with lovely food and very friendly staff! Gorgeous view of the river from the terrace and dining room whoa how makes relaxing very easy.
