Great location in lovely village and a friendly welcome from the owner Claire. Nice and clean with a well equipped kitchen and self-catering basics. We found one or two good restaurants locally and did some fantastic hill walking.
Orcival was an interesting little village in the heart of the Ahvergne , the hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable although our bathroom was a bit cramped. The breakfast on offer was excellent and good value . We ate at the restaurant Le Cantou and had a super dinner of local specialties and very generous portions!!! The staff were lovely and everywhere was very French which for us is the whole point, we heard hardly any English spoken, we really felt we were in authentic France
