Located on the outskirts of Rennes, at the exit of the motorway linking Paris to Brest, Hotel Ibis Budget Rennes Cesson is near the city center and fairgrounds.

The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the train station away and a 5 minute walk from the next bus station for Rennes (which is on the opposite side of the road as the bus takes a turn in the roundabout). The journey into Rennes takes some time with the bus. The staff was nice and multilingual. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and big and newly furnished when I arrived. When I visited the establishment construction was underway. Everything was renewed and in very good condition. However some work equipment and material was still on the premises and caused a bit of dust (on the stairway and entrance).
